Border Collie
Border Collies are considered the most intelligent dogs (according to Stanley Coren's The Intelligence of Dogs). Border collies are very loyal and obedient to their master. Originally created to help in herding cattle, the Border Collie breed was first developed in the area along the border of England–Scotland, and is now popular throughout the Western hemisphere.
For some communities, Border Collies are trained as sniffer dogs, dogs for acrobat (entertainer), dogs to race in sports, and Border Collies are even used to keep small children who play out near public roads from running in the streets, because this breed is very intelligent and so is easily trained.
Border collies are typically black, brown, or reddish yellow over white. Border collies have a medium to long outer hair with soft, thick undercoats so they need brushing two or three times a week; bathe them every two to three weeks.
The Border Collie has a medium size, as shown in one picture here. Border Collies are very energetic, lively and love to play, so they need an owner who can provide these needs for them, otherwise they will get bored and might chew stuff, dig, or constantly get into trouble.
